We have a whole lot of people judging people by the type of car they drive. Let me say it this way. Many people are under the false assumption that the make and model of a car adds value and importance to a person. Never mind what's in the heart; it's about the ride. Forget about the importance of an intimate relationship with God; it's about styling and profiling. Whenever you seek to impress people by what you drive, you will find yourself broke, busted, and disgusted. On the flip side, if you judge someone by what they drive, you are shallow. I'm here to let you know it's not what you drive, it's what's driving you that counts.
The writer of Proverbs penned the words, "He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like foliage." Please don't miss this. Being driven comes from the inside out. In a real sense, you're driven by God to make a difference in this world. Those who have a vision are driven. On the other hand, those without a vision are caught up simply trying to impress people to feel good about themselves.
